Just wanting to check in and see how everyone was doing. I am still very tired, I have gone back to work half a day this week and by noon I am worn out. I come home take a 3 hour nap and then go walk. I have tolerated everything I have eaten and drank. But I am sticking to Dr Baker's plan. Everything is first, sugar-free then fat-free. I am having some tough emotional/mental battles but I knew that I would. I hope everyone is doing well. Denise Baker 9-29-03 ""

Hi Amanda. I'm between 25-30 lbs. down. I can't tell but my husband and mom and dad say they can. I have only weighed once and trying not to make it a habit. I'm trying to make it about a healthy lifestyle rather than number of pounds lost. Even though that is a good motivator. I'm glad to hear you are doing well. Take it easy at work. Hey you guys! Had my surgery on the 29th of September and I'm down 15 lbs or so...I really havent had a problem with any food (besides eating too fast), and I can tolerate milk!!! My hormones go up and down and up and down, and it didnt help that the day I got out of surgery I started my period?!? Anyways, I try to walk everyday, but the depression gets to me sometimes! Oh yeah! When the Pastor came in my pre-op room, he said that he had just came from Denise Drye's room and I think she was in pre-op with me! That made me feel better knowing one of my fellow members was going through the same thing I was! Anyways, I'm glad you all are doing so good, may God bless each and every one of you along this journey!!!! ~Lindsey

WE ALL LEARN OUR LESSONS, JUST DON'T DO THAT AGAIN. BUT TOO EVRYONE IS DIFFERENT. SOUNDS LIKE YOU SHOULD HAVE CHEWED A LITTLE BIT BETTER TOO. SO DON'T GIVE UP. MAYBE ONE OF THESE DAYS YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TRY IT AGAIN, JUST CHEW A LITTLE BETTER NEXT TIME. AT LEAST YOU RECOGNIZED WHAT YOU HAD DONE WRONG AND THAT IS WONDERFUL. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, YOU ARE DOING GREAT. NEW LIFESTYLE, NEW LIFE, NEW YOU---YOU GO GIRL AND KEEP IT UP. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS YOU ON THE LOSING SIDE, OH BY THE WAY, I AM NOT A POST OP FROM THE 29TH, MY DAUGHTER LINDSEY IS. KAREN K. AHNBERG
