Hey guy's its Debbie Moya
Well as you know I had surgery on 9/22. It was pain full. they had problems getting my bloodpressure up and I was sent home on Oxygen. I remember waking up and hearing someone talking and I looked up at the BP machein and My Blood Pressure was 40/20. Needless to say I said to my self Oh **** and I went right back to sleep. But I'm doing better now. I don't think I'm bouncing back as well as I should. Or maybe I am. I'm just use to doing everything myself and NOw I can't and It realy ticks me Off. But I will be a good girl and just let everything heal. I'm walking and going shopping with mother. But I have to keep my Oxygen tank handy and I have to sleep with Oxygen hooked to my C-Pap.
Well hugs and Lot's of prayer and best of luck on each and every ones journey. Debbie
Bryn,
I had a little problem. My bloodpressure went to 40/20 and my pulse-Ox dropped to 58. I remember waking up and hearing the Doc. talking I looked at my blood pressure and I said Oh **** I'm Dying then I went back to sleep. And think God everything turned out okay. They seem to think of course part of it was from my sever Obstructive sleep apnea. and also a reaction to the Epadiral. But I can tell you one thing although it was real pain full. I would do it agian in a heart beat. I'm 2 weeks out and have lost around 25 Lbs. And as far as the Epadiral goes I wouldn't change that either. It was a life saver. I didn't want the other method because it is to much medicated for me. See the way the anestisaoligest explained it was that the other pain method is more drugs in the body which kind of makes you feel wierd. But the epadiral is the pain med. olny goes to the nerve endings to kill the pain and not through the blood stream. and I was very please with my pain meds. It is good to have someone with you. I had to stay 5 day's. and my husband stayed with me. The nurses were pretty good. But there was on I didn't care for. He moved me from one room to another and never rehooked up my oxygen or my bed. I couldn't do nothin my bed wasn't even hooked to the wall. He moved my roomie in at the same time and never got her set back up either. so my husband, Bless his heart. Listened to me and followed my direction's on hooking up my bed to the wall and hooking my oxygen up. This nurse is on 6th floor and he say's he had this surgery 10 years ago. I don't like him. at first I though he would be good until he moved us then he acted like he didn't care. My husband helped me and my roomie.
Hugs and best of luck Debbie
