i got home from the hospital friday. i have to tell ya the recovery sucks. i didn't know it would hurt so bad. iwalked and visited with denise, she's doing good.rahbin thanks for visiting me, your great! it seemed like when you needed pain meds, it took forever to get them and then you might not get anything.so anyone wanting this surgery, might need to do some serious thinking. dr. baker was great, but the hospital needs alot of improving, anyway god bless - amanda

Amanda, I am so glad that you are home. I am curious. What floor were you on in the hospital? What pain relief delivery did you choose? I am curious as my surgery is later this month. I will keep you in my prayers. Happy melting.

Hi Amanda. My surgery is scheduled October 27th which is a Monday. I am using Dr. Baker and I plan on having an epidural for pain management. Who put your epidural in...the anesthesiologist or Dr. Baker? I am a registered nurse and have been researching Baptist. From what I heard, it sounded like you could get better care on the 6th floor, but after reading all of the recent posts, I am not sure that is true. My husband is going to stay with me. I have been worried that I would not be able to get a private room. My husband assured me that he would stay outside my door if he had to just to make sure that they take good care of me. I am starting to get a little nervous.

Amanda, I'm so glad your feeling better and your home. I had mine 2 weeks ago. And right now I'm going through a depression stage. Doc. Baker said it is normal. I sure hope he's right. Hugs Debbie Moya
