Drs at UAMS in LR

Does anyone know anything about Dr Galvin? Thanks

Steve, I believe a friend of mine had her surgery done by Dr. Galvin. She said he was very good and the staff at hospital was nice and helped a lot. But that's all I know Debbie

Steve I am seeing Dr Galvin at UAMS and he will be doing my RnY on 8/12. I have been pleased with his knowledge and feel confident about his ability. On my first vs to his office on 4/21/03 he spent approx i hr with me doing eval and answering all y questions. His office staff is also very good, his ass't Ginger is WONDERFUL! I was originally denied by my insurance, finally approved on 2nd appeal. Ginger was very helpful and did not ever seem too busy to call me.

Steve, I had surgery by Dr. Galvin in August of 2002. I have done great. I went home the next day!! I had LAP RNY. I was a "light weight" and I haven't lost fast, but I have lost. I have lost 92 inches so far and 80 lbs., from a size 22/24/26 to a size 10/12/14 depending on who made the clothes. I have not had any problems, I have never vomited, etc. I was off from work for one week. Email me if you have more questions. Good Luck, Nita
