denial from ins

Well I called ins. and they said it was denied. So hear we go and see what all I can do and appeal it. It will be a long time...so I guess I will have to wait. Tina

You hang in there a fight for what you need. And if you have to take it to congress or take it to the big wig at the insurance company. Find out his name and have relatives call. That worked for me. Debbie

Tina I was denied the first time, in fact my surgery was not approved until the 2nd appeal. Do not give up, that is what the insurers want! Get your PCP to support you and write an appeal letter to your insurance company. Write down names and dates of people you spoke to at insurance co. Unless it is a total benefit exclussion I think you have a very good chance of getting approval if you meet criteria. Good luck...D'Etta, ps I am sched for lapRnY 8/12
