Information

Well I broke down and called my insurance carrier today and they didn't see any information regarding myself. So I get directed to another site, medical management or something and they have no record of it. Finally, I asked what is your address/fax; the lady (and i got her name) gave me another set of addresses and faxes. I am spazzing out by now. So I asked her "if I needed approval for bariatric surgery, where would I send the information?" She gave me the correct address. I called The Bariatric Center and gave Judy the new information and she has faxed it already!!! Whew! Now let us start over with the countdown. I suppose no news is good news huh? At least when I asked about approval she did NOT say "we don't cover that" or something like that, so I am going to take that as a positive sign.

Sonya, You hang in there girl. You stay on them and alway's check up on the info. everytime I sent anything any where I alway's called to check and make sure it got there. and if it didn't some body was telling me why. Plus I kept copy's of a lot of stuff. Good Luck to You Debbie

Good news I hope. Judy from The Bariatric Center emailed me and said that Unicare (my insurance carrier) called her and asked a few questions about me and told her they were turning it over to the doctor for review.
