Tina B: You can always appeal the insurance company's decision! You need to make up a list of co-morbities like hypertension, diabetes or pre-diabetes, and any other problem that you have that could have been brought on by your weight. Put that on your appeal. If you can, go to your family doctor and get him to write you a letter. Lots and lots of people get turned down the first time. (I live in Benton, also. Let me know if I can help.) Take care, Nita

Hi Nita, Thanks for the support, I have a letter from my pcp doc and my knee doc. and I am going to turn them in . Did you have the gastric bypass or something else. I just want to be able to walk in walmart or the mall and not have to hurt so bad, we will have to keep in touch , I love talking to someone that has had this before. thanks Tina
