Protein Shakes found a great one!!

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share with you a great protien shake I have found and has 30 grams of protein and 3 grams of fat.  They are called Premier Protein.  They do not have the icky after taste or the water down taste the others have.  This tastes like chocolate milk for real.  They are very filling and with having to do the liquid diet, this protein shake is delicious.  I will be using this after my surgery as well.  With having to get 60 grams of protein a day after surgery, 2 protein drinks and you are done at 30 grams per carton.

I have googled them and read up on the product at their site.  The only place I can find this product in my area is at Sam's Club.  The cost at my Sam's club is just under $18.00 for 12 protein shakes, so that makes each protein drink approx. $1.50 each.

 My husband is going to pick me some of these up tomorrow while at Sams. Any new flavor is a "good thing". I am post of 5 days and already tired of the protein drinks. LOL.

Hi Pam,

So far all I have seen is chocolate.  I asked the store manager about the vanilla and strawberry, he said they are suppose to get them in, however doesn't know when.  Can't wait, because chocolate does get old after a while.

How are you doing?  I love my WLS, Iwill start to weigh myself every 2 weeks and it's amazing how my body changes.  I had my 2 week post op Nov 22 and my doc said in 1 more week (which will be 11-29) I can go swimming. So right now I walk a mile before work and after work I will swim 5 days a week and 2 weeks a day water arobics.

Guess I'm just a chocolate lover, am about 4 years out with lapbad, so much you can add, peanut butter, bananas, strawberries, nuts and omg, a dab of peppermint or spearmint to that drink, to die for, put some in freezer till almost frozen, eat with a spoon, just love chocolate
