Monthly Support Group meeting---Thursday!
Planning on attending my first support group meeting then!!! I'm pre surgery so I'm hoping that it will help me to ensure me that I'm making the right decision in seeking WLS.
Met a new colleague today that was a gastric bypass pts with multiple complications, her journey is a rather scary one. Before the surgery though she was 429 lbs, now she has 50 lbs to go!! Initally said knowing what she knows not would not have made the decision to have WLS but as we talked she wasn't so sure of that answer.
I feel like I'm between a rock and a hard place. If I stay the way I am now, I won't be happy, I'll be jeapordizing my health and won't be able to live my life and if I have the surgery done and have complications that could also lead to unpleasant things as well. URGH, it's just all so frustrating!
