I am only 4 months out from my surgery date and I have had 6 fills. I am hungry all the time. Then come to find out when I went to my last fill I lost 1 cc from the last time I was in. I only lost 2 pounds in 3 weeks. The amounts of food I can eat (dense foods) is still more than they say I should be eating. I only eat protein. I can eat 2 chicken breasts for a meal and I still want more in between meals. They told me not to eat snacks, but if I don't I'm hungry. Today I ate over 1/2 box of baked crackers 6 inch tuna sandwich from Subway, 2 special k bars, cheese stick, baked chips, then for dinner I went to eat at a chinese buffet because i was so hungry. I ate 2 plates of food AND 2 bowls of icecream. Now, I will say this, I do not eat this way everyday, but when I get to the point where I am so hungry I go crazy. I have been fighting this hunger since last thurs/friday. I don't go back for a fill until sat. this is only my second week from when i got my 6th fill. I am going to have them check my band again. my LB buddy and I had surgery 2 days apart and she has only had 3 fills and her 3rd fill lasted way over a month. She has done great. I on the other hand STAY hungry. Is there anyone else that is in the same boat as me, or is your band/port leaking? PLEASE HELP!!!!! I feel like I had surgery for nothing. I know I am going to have to put forth some effort, but I want the obsession with food to GO AWAY!!! when I am tight I never think about food, but then in about a week - BOOM the bad thoughts are back. BTW, I have lost 51 pounds but have gained 4 back. I know today was REAL bad but, normally I weigh and measure everything and stay within 800-1000 cals a day. I will never make it to goal at this rate. It is a yo-yo effect for me. I didn't yo-yo this bad on WW before surgery. Also, I have been told NOT to eat snacks. That I can only have 800 cals and 3 meals. Is anyone else on this program. I see on here that people are saying that they are eating snacks. Also, I NEVER drink with my meals. I ALWAYS wait 1 to 11/2 hours after I eat. I am constantly craving salt and crunchy foods. Thanks for listen to me. I am just frustrated BAD!!!
