Hi, everyone! I'm Tami a 29 year old mother of two. I have tried for weight loss surgery for several years and finally got approved! I'm having open gastric bypass surgery March 8th with Dr. Baker. I remembered Susan mentioned this website several years ago and decided to come along. I have wanted this surgery for so long and while I'm excited having the date set I'm not nervous. So, I will be reading a lot not sure I have a lot to add to any conversations yet :)

So sorry this board has gotten so slow. Seems everyone is doing the FaceBook thing now, and they don't come around much. We try to keep it going, but it's just not as lively as it used to be. But, some of us die hards still check in, so don't give up on us!!!

Good luck, hope to see you at the post op support group meeting soon. 2nd Thursday of every month in the doctor's dining room at Baptist. 6:00-7:30
