Hey Ya'll
Sorry I haven't been on lately. I've been vey busy. I know some of you will remember I told you back in December that we found out my husband had colon cancer. Well, he had the surgery to remove the mass. They removed 12 inches of his colon. He is or was stage 3. Was in the hospital for eight days. He was really sick after coming home from the hospital. He is just now starting to feel better. But of course he started his chemo treatments this week.
He went in on Monday, did five and half hours of chemo. Came home with a pump that gives him constant feed into the IV. Went back Tuesday and did three more hours of chemo. Came home with the pump again. Went back wednesday so they could take the IV out.
We will do this every other week for a total of six treatments.
He is doing really well so far. I'm just hopeing that it doesn't make him too sick or that the fatigue isn't too bad. We will see.
On top of that, my sister called and told me she found out this week that she has breast cancer. So I'm helping her along because I am a breast cancer survivor, seven years out....whoo hooo!!!!
I know she will be fine. Just takes a lot of hard work and prayers.
So if you guys don't see me on here very much, I'm still here, just not HERE all the time. Hope everyone is doing well.
You all stay safe. Looks like bad weather coming our way.
Love ALL you guys!!!!

Thanks I appreciate it. He's not felt well yesterday or today. But I think overall he is doing well. I've not been doing well with my eating, BUT, at least I've not gained any weight. Hopefully I can get back on track .
You be careful if you are getting out today. For me, I'm not even getting out of the house!!!!!!

You can only do what you can do. This is a difficult time that will test your new lifestyle!
I did all of today's clients yesterday in preparation of the storm. Gary, on the other hand, works for the State. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Gov Beebe declared a state of emergency, said all but essential personnel were to stay home. They told the drug court participants to stay home(Gary's charges), but HE had to go to work because the big boss is out on medical leave and the 2nd in command can't make a decision about what to have for lunch much less who is considered essential or non-essential.
Oh well, he drives a State car. If he runs it into a tree the State pays the deductable, not us. He'll drive a slowly as possible, so I don't worry about him getting hurt, there's just no reason for him to be out AT ALL!!! GRRRRRRRRR
Okay, gonna go do Wii Fit and work off some "stuff".
Take care of each other!
