Good morning crew mates, hope you are starting off the day well!

I got a new edition from the Eat This, Not That series yesterday.  It's  Cook This, Not That, and takes restaurant food, re does the ingredients to make then healthier, and then tells you not only how many calories you save by cooking the dish at home, but how much $$ you save by eating at home and not out. GREAT recipes and tips!  I recommend to anyone who eats. Beware, the nut info does not include the protein count, just calorie, fat and sodium, so you'll have to make those determinations on your own

Here's my day as I have planned it. Let's see what shakes out   lol

I will have to take a look at the book!  Sounds like useful info.

Yet another day in paradise - my sick little girlie still has a fever, but she has made a full recovery otherwise and is back to her normal, silly self.  My boy is a little stuffy and has a sore throat, so I let him have a day at home, too.  They felt good enough to squabble, so I'm not terribly worried about them, ha ha.  I did get a lot accomplished for work!  I managed to wrangle a loaner laptop and got quite a bit done.

No running today, I was really tired.  Probably my body reacting to stress and I might be fighting off whatever bug the kids are carrying.  I will try again tomorrow. :-)

Warning: My food today was not exemplary.  Probably because I was lazy and just grabbed things... tomorrow will be better, especially if I'm back at work.  Sitting around the house is not good for my diet!  Anyway, it's ugly but honest.

Breakfast:
melba toast
2 slices deli ham
weigh****chers twinkie
1 piece chocolate

Lunch:
Hot dog
ice cream sandwich

Snack:
Coffee w/milk
more melba toast
banana

Dinner:
salad w/chicken <-- the one bright spot in my day
1 piece chocolate
doritos

Hey Wendy,
I also order a copy of a book called Winning After Losing, which I should be getting in the mail soon. Might be a good topic for support group.

Um, no, this isn't the best food day I've ever seen from you. Thanks for being so honest. It's like going to AA, first thing you have to do is admit your mistakes.

I love you, honey. Glad you're back to work where it's safer!

Hey Y'all How's everyone doing? sorry I haven't been on much, my computer is down so I have to grab one of my kids.  My eating habits are still a little strange, not sure what is  happening.
I have had some good news for a change. My husband finally got his VA claim approved, we have been fighting this since 1992. Good things do come to those who wait and we have been waiting a very long time. Also my grandpeach will be in Dallas this weekend to do an audition for America's Got Talent, please keep us in your prayers.
Ok food today

Lots of good news coming from your house!  Nice to be able to put the VA thing behind you, and look forward to GrandPeach's trip to Dallas. Hope she makes it, it's the only "reality" show I ever watch.

Hey gang,
Today was a crap shoot at best.  I worked today, which Im not complaining about, as I do love my job.  My back is still killing me, and I really am bummed about that as I wanna work out but hurt to bad to do so.
Food was sketchy at best, some days are just like that, and thats no excuse, but crap happens.  The days that I work and dont feel well, my eating suffers.
Breakfast-2 20 oz cups of coffee
Snack-None, was working, cant eat in class
Lunch-Chicken breast minus the skin, 1 bite potato log (gosh that thing was nasty, forgot how greasy fried potatos are!!)
Snack-1/4 Cup homemade spaghetti sauce from last night
Dinner-Purple hull peas, corn on cob, grilled pork ribs and 2 bites cornbread

Drank lots of tea today, as I can drink in class, but cant eat there.  I took a cooler of tea, and got ice from the lounge.  Tomorrow will be better, I work 1/2 day tomorrow, so I can actually eat breakfast.  I dont do well if I need to eat shortly after getting up, and I took pain meds last night and got up at the last possible minute.

Wendy, hope things improve for you.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Hugs,
Rhonda D.

I sub in special ed tomorrow, I love those kids but they sure make me tired, so I see going to bed early in my future tomorrow night!!!

Did you just down a 1/4 spaghetti sauce?  I'm assuming it must have had some meat in it. Yes, that makes more sense....not really with it this morning!  LOL

Less "sauce" and more stuff, lol.
Full of chunks of ground turkey breast, bell peppers, onions and chunky tomatoes.  So was more like veggies w/a drizzle of sauce!!!
