Bachelerette'in it for a few!!!

Gonna be quiet in my little world for a few days.  Mike is leaving at 6:30 in the morning for Shelbyville,TN for school.  Im excited for him, wish I could go but someone has to stay home and take care of the zoo here!!  He will be going to work for the Tennessee Walking Horse Association as a DQP.  In short, means he will be checking horses feet before walking horse shows to make sure that no illegal devices have been used on the horses feet.  We are really excited, as he will be going to shows all over AR, AL, MS, MO, and TN. 

I have not been alone this long since we have been together, so to say it will be strange is to say the least.  I'll be spending the evening w/my mom Thursday evening and then taking her to dialysis on Friday morning, as my sister is going to Dallas for the night.  Saturday I think Im just going to hang out here at home and enjoy the day alone.  Might work a puzzle and just spend some time relaxing. 

Oh well, just felt the need to ramble. Hope all has had a good day so far, will post my food later on this evening.

Sounds like things are going well for you. Time alone is good for everyone now and then. Good luck to Mr Mike, sounds like something he'll really enjoy!

Sounds like fun to me, lol.  I'd give anything right now for a little alone time.  Not that I don't adore my dh, just sometimes it helps to be alone for a bit to work through whats swirling around in my head, lol.  Sounds like a really fun job.  One of my sisters is really into horses.  I used to go to the 3 day event at the Kentucky Horse Park with her every year.  It was so exciting.

Yeah, Im actually excited.  He left this morning at 6:45 and after the initial, Dang, hes not here!!! I was ok.  Im working this afternoon at the school so I wont realize hes gone till I have to come home and feed and water all the children alone, lol.  Im happy for him, he says it wont be like work, it will be more of a hobby b/c he has been w/horses since he was 22 months old.  Got his first one then and has been riding every since.

Mom and I are going to dinner tonight, so some time alone w/her will be great.  I do enjoy my time w/her, as she is not well, Im thankful for every moment she is with me. 

The time alone will be nice, I think Im gonna relax, work a jigsaw puzzle, maybe do a little puttering here in the house, and just have a me weekend!!!
