What are you eating, or....rowing the same boat
Hey guys!
As you might know, I've very active on the Over 50 Forum where there are more of us to count who are 2+ years out and maybe seeing some complacency in our eating. So many, in fact, that we've decided we're not in the same boat, but on a barge! But the good news is that we're all rowing together.
SO.....Who's with us??? There's plenty of room for everyone, newbies and veterans alike.
Now, here's the thing. We might offer suggestions to your posted menu, and it might be a little more honest than what you'd like to hear. Trust that it's not meant to be mean, but helpful. If you're just being plain old stupid, we might tell you that, but promise we'll add a hug along with it. ...LOL None of us are perfect, God knows I'm not, never will be, so please, let's get the new year started and see if we can help each other.
Today's plan:
latte --SF, 1% milk
B- bkfst burrito made with turkey breakfast sausage, eggbeaters on a whole wheat carb balance tortilla
S--orange w/ 11 almonds
L--shrimp coctail
S--cottage cheese w/ homemade applesauce
D--great northern beans made without ham hock, just diced lean ham
S- another latte
S- 1/2 c applesauce w/ cool whip free
ROW, ROW, ROW YOUR BOAT
