Gonna hold you to it GF!!

Are you eating yogurt with active cultures for the yeast infection? If you are, and it's not working, get yourself some acidophalis (sp?) at the health food store. It will help a LOT

I'm on antibiotic for a sinus/ear infection. Thanks for the reminder.

Yogurt, chewable acodoph, pill acodoph, anything and everything and nothing is working, I was so miserable last night Bill suggested I use some triple antibiotic and you know what, it gave me some external relief! lol, this weekend is my anniversary and I have crotch rot! WONDERFUL!

I am almost 2 months post-op. For the last 3 weeks I have not lost a single pound. (Well, I gained 3 then lost 3 and am back to square one.) I "dump" my protein shakes and have hit the point where I wonder if I didn't make a huge mistake in going through with this. I tell myself that it will all be worth it... but the last couple weeks have been really hard. Now that holidays are over with I am hoping to start fresh and find things that work for me.

I really wish there was a support group closer to me. I could really use it use it! Until that happens I try to stay active on here. I am waiting on tax refunds (great things!) and plan on joining the Curves in my area.

My biggest downfall at the moment is not getting in near enough liquids or proteins. Somedays I wish I had to be accountable to someone other than myself.... but, I'm still here and still trying!!

Hang in there.  It gets better.  It will be all worth it.  What type of protein are you having problems with?  Tell us what your typical daily intake consists of and maybe we can get together and offer some suggestions to help.

You might want to try a different protein. I don't like the ones that are like milk shakes at all. For all these years I've depended on Nectar Protein by Syntrax. You can't find it here, but go to

vitalady.com and order some samples. They're $2 each and come in many flavors. Call them for discriptions of the different ones. I like Fuzzy Navel, it's like a combo of peach and orange. Not thick, more like Tang, if you know what that is.

You've probably lost quite a bit right now, so give your body a chance to catch up with itself. This is very, very common.

What kind of protein shakes are you doing? Are they Soy or Wheat based?

Im here, worked today, had to drive to work in the snow, and kept thinking how warm it was in my bed when I woke up!!!  Between each class, I would go out and look to see if it was still falling.  I didnt want it, certainly dont want it to stick, but I must admit it WAS pretty falling!!!
My eating has been good since the 1st, and I intend to keep it that way.  Havent gone back to exercising yet, but I will do that tomororw.  I worked till 4 and was sposed to be at  a meeting right now, but just couldnt drag back out in the weather.  I may get on the elliptical later, but my voice is failing and I have started coughing in the last little bit.  We will see!!! Have to protect the health, eat healthy and excercise when Im able.
Hope all have safe and warm week to follow.  I was supposed to come to Little Rock Wednesday for 3 doc appointments, but I'll be rescheduling them due to weather threats!!

Hugs to all,
Rhonda D. the one who has frozen lumps for feet!!

You better take care of yourself Miss Rhonda.  We don't want to hear about you being back in the hospital again.  This cold weather makes me not want to even get out of the bed, lol.  I never would have thought I would dread winter, lol.  I was always so hot natured when I was overweight I looked forward to cold weather.

I'm here and alive.  Just doing my best to stay warm and upbeat.  Tired of the cold.  Sick of it to be more precise.  Tired of feeling cooped up because it's too cold to go out.
