Is there anyone around the Texarkana Arkansas or Texas area hanging out here?

I strongly suggest that you go through the OH leadership program. It's so informative and the Leader's Forum (no non leaders allowed) if full of tips and hints for starting meetings and all things WLS related.

I had my first session with Cathy today.....It was so exciting....I will do session two tomorrow and will hafta wait unitl January to do the last one....   :(   

I really look forward to getting started...we only have a lapband support group locally and I know of many who have had other types of WLS and Im really hoping they will join in....
