First Regular Size Purchase

After getting over the feeling of not belonging in the misses department, looking at the sizes and thinking no way is that going to fit me I made my first regular size purchase today- A lovely sweater from Steinmart.  It fits perfectly and looks great. 

I am soooo happy.

Great job!!  Wear it alot, b/c it wont be long it will be tooooo big!! I remember buying clothes, wearing them a time or 2 and then, it was too big.
So proud of you, this is truly an incredible journey is it not??  Keep up the good work!!

Oh what a feeling!!! Congratulations on your trip to the smaller size department. Now I don't know if it's just me but when I always had to go to the plus size section all of the cute clothes came in the smaller sizes now that I can wear the smaller sizes they making cute big size clothes. LOL

I am so Happy for you.  I also to know how it feels.  I am 1 year Post-Op and I have lost 118 Pounds being a Lap-Bander, and have went from a size 24 to a size 6.

I still remember having to ask the Dillards associate where the regular women's size department WAS!  I didn't even KNOW which section belonged to "regular sized women".  It doesn't help that Dillards seperates their women's departments into 4 sections!  No wonder I prefer Goodwill!  LOL

I am wearing a size Medium now, Large in some styles... I NEVER Thought I would be wearing a size smaller than 2X... WOW!!! I went to DEBS Today, I LOVE That store, and My Dad cried his eyes off when I got in a pair of SKINNY Jeans size 14, A black Long Sweater size Medium, and Calf high boots that zip up,my lifetime goal, and I cried abut that.... Also Im wearing cowboy boots now... I LOVE Being able to wear boots.... I CAN FINALLY be the Teen Age girl Ive always wanted to be, and dress like the girls in my age group!!!!
