Susan, I understand what your going through.  Thursday my Dad will be flying here from San Diego.  He will be here for 7 days.  My house is clean but CLUTTERED, which to people may look dirty since there is stuff everywhere.  My living room is crowded, and I desperatly need an organizer to come in and help me.  I have packrat disease in my family (I think they call it hoarding, but I have watched those hoarding shows and I am no where near, not even close to those people, I know the difference between what's trash and what's not, LOL)  Anyhow though my living room, is my main room.  I live here and sleep here.  I have a long couch (it's much longer than I am, I'm 5ft2) 2 coffee tables, a tall dresser, 3 desks, 4 end tables, 2 large rat cages, a large fish tank that houses my turtles and large fish.  Also my oxygen machine which is like a piece of furniture, but it fits underneath one of the end tables that is tall.

Most of all my furniture is against the walls, like a big square, all fitting next to each other.  Only exception is one desk (that the rat cages will go in during the cold months) and one of the coffee tables that comes out of the wall for my 2 y/o niece to use to color, sit at, eat on, etc... and most of her larger toys fit underneath it.

Yeah it's can be complicated and messy looking for people who don't know me, but it's all clean.  I am always sweeping or vaccuuming because my rats kick food out of their food dishes when their picking through finding the good stuff, LOL.

I'm trying to deep clean, my Dad knows how my living room is, but he will visit me here, and my sister, her husband and daughter will be here to, so I want to be sure we are not all smooshed together trying to visit.  Luckily it will only be 1 or 2 times here, the rest of the visiting will be at my sisters.

TAB: Before surgery I took trazadone 150mg but after surgery it gave me the worst restless legs and arms.  Then last year they put me on vistoril but I felt so drunk and hungover the next day and couldn't do anything.  So 2 months ago I went back to my primary dr, and they went through a long list of meds that could help, but because I take methadone daily for pain management, there is so many meds I can't take.  Finally we decided to go back to trazadone, but on a smaller dose, so I know take 50mgs at night and they work wonders.  I fall asleep within 30 minutes, I wake up in the morning feeling like I slept good.  And I am not in a dead sleep, I am able to wake up in the middle night if I need to go to the bathroom.  You might want to ask your dr about a very low dose of the trazadone. I am thinking that you had also been on trazadone at one time but had to stop for the same reasons after surgery as me.  If not, I remember someone on here had the same problem.
