It's my Surg-a-versity today!
A year ago today I was headed in for surgery....Totally life changing I have to agree! I'm down 146 lbs, and 167 since my highest in June of '08! My goal weight is more of a reality now... just another 83 to go, and I KNOW I can do it!
I can't believe the year has gone by already... and I've had to adjust my goal of having all of my weight off in these first 12 months... but thats ok, another 4-6 months won't kill me, and I'm sure it will go by just as fast as the first 12 did. (If only I could loose like I did the first 2 months after surgery!!)
I'm going to take the anniversary date and readjust myself to get back into exercising...
The kids I work with are such great inspiration... I was called a Hot Mama today, another student told me I should be proud of myself, I asked why and he said "cause you've lost a lot and you look good" lol.... definitely keeps me going!
My new favorite saying is....YAY ME!!
