Hello all I have been out of the loop my husband was in the hospital again and with school starting I have been busy. We had our year check up a little early but all was good. My B12 and Vit D was a little low but all else was good. Now I just need to find time to get this tummy tuck done.
This is a little off topic but my grandpeach danced last Sunday and it was his best yet. I got it all of it except the last bit camera memory full. Hope you are blessed by it.

Hi Peaches, so nice to see you again!  You always make me smile.....

Sorry your hubby has been sick, hope it's not too serious or prolonged.

B-12....get yourself some 1.000 mc sublingual b-12 dots and take them 2x's a day. What you don't need will be expelled, but it's essential to get your level up and keep it there. It's cheap, too!  Wal-mart, Walgreens, GNC, etc all have it.

Now, your D. If you're taking the green gel caps that the doctor prescribes, you either have to poke a hole in them or bite into it when you take it. They don't break down since we don't have stomach acid in our pouches!!  I buy Vitamin D-3 from Vitalady.com, in the 50,000 iu's that are the prescription strength dose. They are in a powder inside a regular capsule that easily dissolves. It can make a HUGE difference in your numbers. My pcp FINALLY acknowledges that I might know what I'm talking about here and doesn't bother trying to get me to take his green boogers.

As far as your bat wings, I've only heard of one person getting her ins to pay for it. She had to appeal over and over, and finally sent a photo of her stirring a pot on the back burner of the stove. The skin on her arm was touching the pot on the front burner!!!!  It was staged of course, for purposes of showing how dangerous all of that skin was. I think it took about a year to finally convince the ins co to pay, but they did.

Good luck!!!   Come back often, we miss you!

Thanks for the advice. Dr. Gibbs gave me a script for some nasal B-12 to try. I have the sublingual guess I'm not getting enough. I will try the VitD-3. He did give me a script for the green gel caps.  As for my husband he had another bleed but they can't find where the blood came from so doc says not to worry about it since his blood count did not drop much.
Now the bat wings I may have to take picture of me cooking cause my husband is old school and I cook everyday twice a day that good Lord sends me another day.  I also do cakes so I am grabbing my camera with a full memory and I will be clicking an recording like a film crew on a reality show. Let's see what shall I call my show? The Hanging Skin Saga, or The life and skin of Mama Peaches, or The Journey to a Hot chick in a Thong?

The nasal b-12 is very new, and only a few ins cover it, so you might want to check that out before you order it. It is supposed to be very, very effective. In fact, the drug rep who sells it is coming to the October 15th support group at Baptist. Why don't you try to come?  We'd love to see your Diva self in person!!!

I love Dr Gibbs to death. Lord knows I'm still on this planet because of him. But I cannot for the life of me understand why he and his medical buddies keep prescribing those stupid gel caps!!! I took them for about 8 months and my D continually dropped, until it was finally at 11. After I started taking the dry D-3 it went to 63 in 5 weeks. They just won't listen to me. Oh well.

How about "Bat Girl"?

Ok Bat Gurl is for real. Now laying all jokes aside. I was just in the kitchen cooking and reached over to the back burner and realize that is not a joke. Some things you just do out of  habit. When you cook you will feel the heat on your hands but when your meat and I mean the meat on my body is that close to the boiling pot of water is really kind of scary when you stop and think about it.

This poor girl I was talking about got to the point where she only used the front burners of her stove.  I think her name is Saralicious. You might see if you can locate her through the main board's Member list
