Good morning everyone!

What a beautiful morning it is!  I've opened up all the windows and turned on ceiling fans to get some much needed FRESH air into the house. It feels sooooo good.

Yesterday ended up not being such a great food day. I didn't overeat, but somehow made wrong choices and ended up with over 1800 calories for the day It isn't that I ate a bunch of junk, well, I could have done without the doughnut (something I rarely ate even before WLS), but it just all added up to too many carbs, thus sending the calorie count through my personal roof (1400 cals).

I'm not freaking out over it. It is what it is. Yesterday is over and today is a new day. As long as it's just ONE day, I can live with it.

How are YOU doing on your plan??  Getting in all your protein?  How about your supplements???

Do you need any help? Suggestions?  Kick in the butt

ok ok ok ....one day....just dont let it become a habit. anyhow as I have read in my fitness and nutrition textbooks its the week over all. So therefore, be good the rest of the week and you should be fine. Like I said,,,,,,,no habit or you will be in trouble young lady.

Just do a lil extra cleaning or walking or whatever. The donut probably did it.......yep blame the donut. Anyhow sometimes our metabolism likes the little bumps in the road.....because your body kicks in to overdrive to burn off the treat you just gave it and it expects it next time. You might lose a pound in the end because you tricked your body. Thats no excuse nor is it the ok to eat like that where anyone is concerned.

Well......I slept my morning away. Doing laundry, checked the pool.....looks better.....gotta wait a couple hours til swim time....

Tonight we are celebrating Sebastians 16th birthday as tomorrow is a school night, even tho he is in 11th grade I still dont like activities on school nights. We are going to watch WWE wrestling (well he is I am going to read or study) and my daughter is coming over and we are making tacos. He loves tacos......eats about 8....he is sooooooo skinny!!!!

anyhow, have a good sunday all
huggs

Thanks, Honey!

I checked my average for the week, and even with the day yesterday I'm still at an average of a hair under my 1400 cals. So, not so bad at all. The scale didn't seem to be bothered by the whole thing at all, so that's that!

Gary and I took a huge metal shelf unitl to the storage garage and sorted through a bunch of crap (really...stuff we moved here from CA 4 years ago!), so there was lots of toting and lifting involved. Planning on chicken salad on low cal bread for lunch. Not sure about dinner, but it will be okay.

Happy birthday hugs to Sebastian!

That figure is probably what you would need to maintain your current weight, not what you need to lose, IF you weren't an rny pt.

How far out are you? Is it about 5 months?  I would guess between 600-800 cals a day, with at LEAST 60-80 grams of protein. More if you can, won't hurt.

Baker's rules  might be a bit different, by Gibbs had me at 50% from protein, 30% carbs and 20% fat.

hope this helps!

Beautiful day outdoors, but not a fun day here.  After we came in from Pine Bluff yesterday, we cleaned up and was going to run to town and grab a bite, as we were both too tired to cook, and I havent been grocery shopping, and there were NO veggies in the house.
I put the truck in reverse, and clunk, thats where it stopped.  The belt had come off, and so we discovered that not only had it come off but the idler tension pulley that keeps it tight had broke.  Needless to say, we stayed home and I ate food I didnt need.
Mike has been working on the truck all morning, he hates mechanic work and Ford designed all their crap to be factory small so that you take it back to them to fix.  Well, he found the part in Camden, but have to wait on my aunt to come get us before we can do that.
Hope to get to the barn to ride sometime today, if not, I'll try to ride around here.  While hes been out working on the truck I have done some laundry, and worked on our dirty bedroom.  You know, for 2 people who are never home, I wonder how this room gets so messy so fast!!  I truly think the house dirty fairy comes while Im gone!! Yep, thats it, thats my story and Im sticking to it.
Well, Im off to work on the bedroom some more and listen to the birds chatter back and forth to each other.
Hugs,
Rhonda D.

I'm still here and alive.  I have taken a 2 or 3 day break from the remodel.  It has been driving me crazed - so I had to.

Tomorrow though, it's back to painting and nailing every night from the time I get off wor****il bedtime.  Joy.

Actually, it's looking really good though.

I'm having a problem with my carpeting (the new stuff they put down), but hopefully that will be resolved soon.  I don't even want to think about it now, much less go into it.  Needless to say, my typical luck (or lack thereof) is holding.

I've been wanting to eat too many calories lately.  I haven't been DOING it, but I've been WANTING to.  So lately, I guess because of my nerves with the remodel - not to mention the lack of TIME to PLAN meals, etc - it has been an INCONVENIENCE to stay "within budget" with regards to my calories.  But I've done it.  You can too.

My two year anniversary of my RNY was on the 20th.  I weighed in at 126.2 lbs this morning, so I'm feeling good about that.

Maybe you can fill me in sometime about the carpet. You were having it installed the day we last talked. Sounds ominous

SUPER DUPER CONGRATULATIONS on your 2 anniversary!!!!!  You've done so well and really are the model rny patient....IMHO.

I weighed 126.6 this a.m.  So, we're holding our own, aren't we?

How much longer until the work is all done at the house? Hope you'll be able to get back to normal soon.

Take care. Sure is good to see you around!

Susan
