Gooooood Monday morning everybody!!!

Gosh, what a beautiful weeked we had here in Central AR. Hope it was a pretty every where else. I also hope you all took advantage of it and got out and MOVED!!!  Gary and I went to the storage shed and rearranged and tossed out a bunch of stuff. There are things in there that I haven't seen since we put them in there 4 years ago when we moved here. Hmmmm I need to learn to let go!

So.............I'm back down to my 126#, got those pesky 2# off that had me worried. I upped my protein and lowered my carbs for about 10 days and there you are!

Okay. Are you moving? Are you eating according to plan? Are you HAPPY?????

Hi Susan,

Congrats on getting those extra 2# back off.   You continue to inspire with your diligence.

It was a beautiful weekend and I took advantage of it and moved as much as I could.  Unfortunately on Sat I made one wrong swing of the golf club and pulled my back out.  Nothing serious, just some pain and knots.  It's happened before and it will happen again.  It's already improving, but keeping me slowed a bit.  Should be fine within the week if it does as usual.

Have to go to the dentist today to finish up my new crown.   Not much else to report.

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.

Diligence?    No, my dear, it's pure unmitigated FEAR!!!!  But whatever it is, it keeps me on track.

I sure hope your back went out on the back 9 and not at the beginning of your day. Hope it's better by next Saturday because it's supposed to be another great weekend. Hasn't this been a wonderful summer? Except for all of the rain, which I don't mind at all, it's been great.

Sticking a fork in my eye is akin to going to the dentist. Hope your visit goes well. Are you still working, BTW?

Take care!

Susan

I'm still working, though I still haven't been given a permanent assignment.   It can't continue like this much longer.   I expect to hear something pretty soon.  Just don't know what.

Steve, it must be pretty depressing not knowing what your future holds. I'm sorry they're putting you through all of this, but if they didn't think you were valuable, you would have been gone a long time ago.

No need to tell you to stay positive, you're just that kind of guy anyway. So, hang in there the best you can.

Hugs to ya!

What great weather for August here in Arkansas. I'm loving it!!! Sure makes it nice to get out and go for those morning walks.  Walked my threes miles this morning, came home drink a gazillion glass of water, took a shower and drank my protein drink. Laid out some shrimp for lunch. Doing laundry and cleaning the house today. So busy day for me. Spent a lot of time outside this weekend. Cleaned up both vehicles yesterday. Hubby started mowing yesterday evening and will finish up this evening.  Went to the lake saturday and visited with my daughter that was camping with some friends. It was sooooo nice over there. Good breeze blowing. Watched a most beautiful sunset then came home.
Hope everyone has a good day!!!!

Way to go ANN!!!!  Three miles and a gazillion glass of water is a great way to start the week.

It has been beautiful, hasn't it? I have lots of things to do around the house, too. Laundry is about done, run the DW, and off to get a few groceries for the week. I'm going to make a big crock pot of applesauce. It's so good for you, great with SF FF Cool Whip, and freezes well.

So, that's my plan of attack. Off to the shower and a protein drink.

Hugs!

Had a great day Saturday.  Mowed the yard and did laundry.

It was so pretty outside that I just had to go out for a while so I took my dog for a walk.

Sunday I paid a visit to our new Sams store in Hot Springs with my mom.  It's really nice.  Walked about a million steps.

Good for you!  It was a beautiful day, and I spent half of Sunday inside, but at least it was moving furniture, cleaning and such. So, all in all, a good one.

Do you ever park waaaaaaaaaaaaay far away from the front door of a store?  I used to look for the closest spot, now I have a good time parked all the way out in the far part of the lot and walking in. Less dings on my car and more muscles in my legs.  A win -win situation.
