New Baby here!!!

My wonderful sweet and precious husband bought me a new baby today.  Got a 5 year old umbrella ****atoo that talks, sings and dances. She is sooo sweet, big ole girl, but cute so its ok.

We have had birds almost the whole time we have been together, so to have a new fur baby that is big and sweet.  God I love her. On the way home, she kept saying, "I love youuuuu"
Made her worth all her money!!

That's cool.  We had a Quakerkeet when the kids were little and you can imagine what I would catch them trying to teach that bird, lol.

I'm soooooooooo jealous!!!  I've always wanted a ****atoo, they're so beautiful and loving. We use to go to this big exotic bird store in San Diego and just cuddle with them for an hour or so to get our "fix". 

We had a Pocket Parrot for 14 years and it about killed me when he died. Still, I wouldn't have another one, they are so much work. Besides, I think Baxter would eat it!!!

Oh....I am jealous!  Not really!

I had a ring neck parrot for several years and I loved him.  I taught him to say lots of stuff and even wolf whistle!  He also picked up things from my niece and nephew like...Grandmaaaaaaaaaaaa.  He would say that and everyone would bust out laughing.

As Susan said though, they are a lot of trouble and I don't think I would want another one.

Well, she certainly is not my first, we have a small one as well.  Got him last year when he was 3 weeks old.  Hand fed him and have made him ROTTEN!!!  His favorite word is ****!!!!  Says it frequently, and he sneezes all the time.  Soo cute.  Just wish he had another favorite word, but we will deal.  We have had big birds, little birds, and in between birds. 
Our goal is to one day own a BIG bird, blue and gold macaw or some kind of full sized one.  We had an african grey, a quaker, 2 ****atiels, a mini macaw, parakeets.  So can ya tell we love these babies???
I hope to post some pics soon, she is sooo sweet, snuggled under my chin as I type. 

Everyone should love at least one bird in their life, they are sooo awesome!!!!
