Still here, just not HERE much

Thought Id post and say Im still here, but not on here much. Its been a long hard week and I have been in bed all week long. Went to the new surgeon Tuesday, who was recommended by Susan, to whom I owe great thanks.
He took me out of the huge horrid boot and put me in a new ankle brace that I can actually wear under my boots, so I dont look like the invalid I really am. He told me to be off of my feet for 6 weeks, no exercise, or anything. Only thing he said I can do is I can still ride my horse, b/c there is no pressure on my foot in the stirrup. God I loved him for that.
I have to wear this brace for 6 weeks, go back and see him to see if the break has healed and then to check the tendons. If they are still too loose, we will schedule surgery. Said he would take a rope and hook to the tendon and attach it to the bone. Who would have thought, A ROPE!!!
But that is why I have not been around much. Im learning about full bed rest, and I HATE it. On Wednesday, I had another seizure, so its back to the doc to find out why Im having them about every 6-7 months.
I have also been nursing a sprained wrist. At the horse show last Saturday, I was riding Mikes stud, and he was testing me to see what he could get away with, and he was raring up, running backwards and such, and while I was making him behave, I pulled my wrist and I guess I sprained it. To make a long story short, IM FALLING APART!!!!
I wont make the walk in September, why come if I cant walk. I know, there are other things to do, but we have state horse show Labor day weekend, and it will take allll of my entertainment budget. Ya'll have fun and walk one for me.
