I know what you mean.  The only way I can afford going is because we got a really good discount from work.  I guess that means I can't be changing jobs anytime soon, lol.  I do have a question though.  I was logging my exercise last night and noted that they only give you how many calories you burned for the Cardio.  Do they mean to tell us that all that soreness from the strength training doesn't come with the reward of burning calories too?  And, to add to my whine, I had to really work at it to get my heart rate up to where the dumb machine said I needed to be during the workout, lol.  I never thought I would ever hear myself complain about a resting heart rate of 62 when it was in the 90's before I started losing.  I think you're right about the board.  Once school starts back and everyone gets back on a regular schedule things will pick up.  If you think this board is slow, you should check out some of the others too.  My second favorite place is deader than a door nail.  (Whatever that is supposed to mean).  Have a good weekend.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I bet Tammy can tell you. She's working towards her cert as a personal trainer. She's Tabstattooed, so why don't you shoot her out the question?

What other board to you frequent?  I spend lots of time on the Over 50 Forum and it's VERY active. Great folks there. In fact, I'm going to Dallas in Sept to meet up with 20 of them to celebrate one of the girl's 65th birthday!  What a hoot that will be!  You ought to come join us on there and see what you think.
