I'm officially no longer "obese"!!!!
O.K., O.K., so I'm still "overweight". That still looks a heck of a lot better than the "super obese" that I started out at, lol. I remember how excited I was when I went from super to just obese. I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw the "overweight" next to my BMI index. I got back on my Wii fit last night. I haven't used it since the end of last year. It told me, wow, it's been 221 days since I last saw you! I had been walking instead up until my surgery then I became a couch potato again. I'm getting back on track again now. I was working on strengthening exercises and couldn't believe how much ground I lost. At least I was my actual age on the Wii fitness test rather than 10 years older where I first started out, lol. I'm going to stay with it for a while and see if I can't get stronger. My upper body strength is fine from lifting so many people in bed. It's the lower body that stinks. I'm battling the smoking demon again. I lapsed after gallbladder surgery when I was so miserable and feeling sorry for myself. I have set Saturday as my stop day. Wish me luck.
Great job Sybul. Overweight has such a much better sound than super obese, doesn't it?
Good luck on the smoking issue. As a one-time smoker, i know how hard it is to quit, but I know you can do it. As hard as it is, it is still easier than the whole weight thing IMO and very important to your health. Best wishes for a smooth withdrawal.

I think I remember the day I hit "normal" as much as the day I made my personal goal. Funny how we're affected by labels.
The Wii sounds like so much fun. I kind of think I might want one, but I haven't decided yet.
I"m also a reformed smoker. Good luck with kicking that again. Old habits and addictions are so tough.
