Need advice from a lap band guru
Ok, I need some advice.
What do you eat for breakfast?
My day goes like this:
I get up at 4am, get ready for work, take my medicine, drink a protein shake, leave my house about 5:30am.
I am at wor****il 3:30 or 4pm.
I get home around 4:30 or 5pm, walk (at a speed of 3 to 3.5 mph) between 1.5 to 2 miles every day on my Bowflex Treadclimber, yet I don't seem to be losing any weight.
I am using the Chike Nutrition shake mix that was recommended by Dr. Luttrell before I leave home, but by 8am I am starting to get hungry.
Do you think my band is adjusted right?
I had my first fill on July 3rd.

I eat a bowl of cereal for breakfat or I go to sonic and order a chicken strip sandwich plain with ranch on the side,I throw away the bun, it cost only 1.00. You have only had 1 fill, it took me untill April (my 4th fill) to get restriction. I have just passed my 1/2 ways mark to get to goal, Lapband is slow but worth it!
Robyn, Thanks for the response. So you have had your band about a year.
Have you had problems with any foods? So far, I haven't had any issues with what I have been eating. I have tried all kinds of foods and none of them seem to bother me.
My band is a 10cc band. I am curious about how much saline should it take to give me the restriction that I need.

Before April I could eat anything and almost any amt, since then, I can't tolerate bread, pasta, roast beef and salad. I went last week and got a .5 unfill. I have been able to eat a piece of toast and some salad(if lettuce is shredded) along most things in small amounts. I went from April -July eating lots of chip-dip, ice cream and cookies because everything else was getting stuck and i was pb'ing at least 2 times a day, not healthy for me or my band! I also have a 10cc band. 1st fill 1.5 2nd fill 1.0 , 3rd 1.0, and 4th 1.0( he only wanted to do .5) and I talked him into a full cc. big mistake! I did lose 10.5 in those 3 months, but it wasn't worth it, my doc said I should lose better being a little loser, because i'll be able to eat most meats and salad. So, basically it took 4 cc for me to fill restriction and that was 9 months down the road. I hope to be at least 15 pds down before I go back in October. I have lost 1 1/2 this week.
