Tragic Thursday

Gee, it's hard to imagine that we have lost two icons in one day, and another the beginning of the week. Lots of folks say they come in threes. Ed McMahon was elderly and in poor health, poor Farrah, well what can be said about her courage? Now Michael Jackson. Strange person, amazing talent. Too young.

So, things like this put life into perspective. All of a sudden my cares and woes seem insignificant.

my work was crazy today......then famous people dying...one expected one shocking......I did re-connect with a friend I have not heard from in 20 some odd years.....

But I had a great day with my 2 year old granddaughter Cloie. We even got up the courage to go outside and face the raging heat.
Whewww! It is time for a good thunderstorm and a cooling off here in Tyronza.

Susan, I hope my sister and I see you soon. We have our psych evals next month. Wooo Hooo!!!

Was a sad day indeed.  I loved Farrah, although I am younger than most of her fans, and Michael was kinda in my growing up years.  Although I was not a great fan of his, was still shocking and sad. 
Our day was pretty normal, but a good day.  Took Mom to buy a new washing machine and then took care of the animals for Mikes dad.

Its just too freaking hot, and its only June.  Wish fall would come soon.  Just gonna have to stay in and be calm until then, but I love to be outside, never have wanted to be outdoors till this year and now its tooooo hot.  OHH WELL!!!

Hey, where is Shawna??? Is she MIA? Do we need to go north and get her??

Icon's are just successful people and I feel sorry for their families, but I do not grieve over them.  During the last 3 weeks I have had some stressful events happen.  The most important, and most disturbing are a friend of mine loosing his sister and her daughter.  And then my niece being found dead in her apartment this past Sunday.  They suspect at 38 she died of a heart attack due to a 95% blockage in an artery and that she had been dead for 3 to 4 days before being found. 

Up until this past week I had been consistantly loosing 2 - 4 Lbs a week, but now I have found 4 of those pounds.  I am not hungry, but I am eating more often than I should. 

I will be at the next support group meeting.  The last two were not attended due to conflicks.
