Still Here
Sorry I haven't been on a lot lately. I've been ultra-busy - and to be honest, haven't made OH a priority.
I don't remember when I updated last - so I'll give y'all a quick update but some of it may be stuff I've told y'all already.
My husband went back to work (government) and has started already. He loves it. His schedule is GREAT. He has time for LIFE now - which is GOOD.
My kids are up to same old, same old.
My weight is still up a pound or so, then down a pound or so. I still stay between 125 and 130 pounds - which is exactly where I want to be.
I bought a new bathing suit. I thought my one from last year was still OKAY (not great, but doable****il my husband AND my daughter told me it was falling off me and too big. (It was a 10, but it was a slimming fitted size 10 - so I figured it would work. Obviously not. So I went to Wal-Mart and found one of the last acceptable size small seperates that they had. All the one piece suits sucked or were too large AND MOST of the two piece suits were.... well.... almost non-existant as far as actual fabric present (they didn't cover up hardly anything). They were for tiny teenagers with perfect bodies (NOT me). So I ended up with a two piece that comes together LIKE a one piece. I can't believe I found something that fit AND that was actually really cute (this late in the season for shopping for suits). Maybe I'll upload a photo of it. Maybe.
I got into an accident. I'm fine. My truck is fine. There was no actual collision. A motorcycle skidded to avoid hitting me. He wasn't injured - believe it or not! I am more glad about that than I can even express. My insurance is fixing his bike - so it should be fine.
My dad is having back surgery soon. I wish he would lose weight first - but fat lot of good my wishing will do in that regards.
My mom is doing great and within 10 pounds of goal already! She looks fantastic.
Work is fine and good.
We are starting a major remodel of our home. Seriously. Major remodel. New floors, new appliances, new countertops, faucets. Complete remodels of both bathrooms and ALMOST a complete remodel of our kitchen. We are pretty much going to remodel until we don't have any more money. LOL. Then we'll stop.
SOOOOO, that's what I've been up to and what I WILL be up to for the next little bit.
So, I'm still here. I'm still alive and well.
I'm sorry I don't have time to read all your posts. For those of you that have had something wonderful happen, congratulations. For those of you that have had something terrible happen, I'm sorry. For those of you that need prayers and best wishes, my thoughts are with you.
Thanks for thinking of and/or asking about me.

Glad you are doing ok there Wendy. I havent been making anymore posts yet because I have actually been spending alot of time on here reading others posts, and checking out the forums. Been writing down alot of things to try after surgery, and making a list of the things I will need to stock up on for post op.
Looking forward to the future.

Hey Honey,
So glad you're doing well. Are you feeling a little more at ease with your home improvment plans than when we talked about it before?? It's such a lot to decide on and it's stressful thinking that you might not make good decisions. I'm sure you will do all the necessary home work and everything will be wonderful.
Gotta run....client's coming in the door!
Big ol' hugs to ya!
