It's been a long time since I posted.
Wow! It has been a long time since my last post. With work and home things get crazy sometimes. I had my lap band surgery on 6/8/09. I am doing great!
Some questions for those of you who have been at this a while.
1. When did you know that you needed an adjustment?
2. What are some tips for eating right when you have a very busy schedule?
(I leave home around 5:30 each morning and don't get back home until almost 5 in the evening. I usually have a shake for breakfast, a small bowl of salad for lunch, well chopped up, and for dinner it varies. Last night I had 1 cheese enchalada. I don't feel like I am losing the weight like I should. I have only lost 5 lbs so far.)

Your doctor will discuss what and how much you are eating at your 6 week check up, that is when I got my 1st fill, I will be a year out JUly 17th, and I have only had 4 fills, my DR. is very conservative in that area, which makes the weight loss very slow, but steady. Remember you are not going to lose weight untill you have some restriction and for me that was my 3rd fill in Jan. I think your doing great, and my Dr always tell me to be patient, I will get to goal. How much do you have to lose? My goal is to lose 80 pounds, by 18 months out, if it takes me a little longer, thats ok.
