Yippity skippity, it's Tuesday!
Morning my OHAR family,
I have a peaceful morning here. Don't have to be at wor****il around 11:00, so I thought I'd pop in. Yesterday was a nice day too, pretty much stayed at home and puttered. I love it when my days off aren't filled with running up and down the interstate. I made 3 trips into LR last Thursday....agh!
So, here's Monday's menu. Pretty good, I guess.

1/2 c SF FF ice cream w/ 1 Tbs chocolate protein pwdr
1/2 roast beef sandwich on double fiber bread, 2 Tbs coleslaw

cottage cheese w/ NSA cherry pie filling

Have a great day everyone!

Hi!
I'd recommend cottage cheese if you can stomach it, or some Greek yogurt. You're not on meats yet, are you? I can't remember that far back (my gosh, my brain is so fried). If you are, grind up some tender chicken and mix it with the Greek yogurt and some Cavender's seasoning -- makes a rockin' chicken salad. It's rich, though!
I'm sure Susan and Wen will echo my sentiments here -- you absolutely must find a liquid protein source you can handle... it's essential. Susan turned me on to Syntrax Nectar, particularly the Fuzzy Navel flavor. It does not have the nasty taste that many of the powders do; I can even tolerate it just mixed with water and poured over ice if I have to. I have bought mine the last couple of times from vitacost.com. And don't forget, you don't have to use a whole scoop at a time! Add a little bit to your water throughout the day with some Crystal Light to enhance the taste, it will add up.
What you will need to focus on is working extra protein into the things you eat throughout the day... if you eat cereal, pick one that's protein-enriched. If you eat oatmeal, try making it with milk or add a little protein powder. Things like this will really help in the long run. Hope this helps!
ETA: YAY!!!!!! You finally got your surgery!

Im hot, Im hot, Im hot!!!! Did I mention Im hot!!
Hate this horrid weather, staying inside, gonna become an a/c recluse. Glad the civic center is air conditioned w/5 fans !!
Food yesterday I posted on the other thread, Im always on the wrong one!!!
Tammy, you must look too cute w/your curly tail. I think Im a lil pig too, cuz I sweat so much, I have to shower 2-3 times a day, and if I dont, I SMELL like a BIG PIG!!!
Hey Steve, I wish you well on your mosey, I dont even want to do that. I walked to moms this morning, next door and thought I would die before I got there. Cant even ride the horses in weather like this, got up at 7 to ride and it was so humid, I changed my mind. Guess we'll wait till the show Saturday and hope for the same results!!!
Have a good day, off to make a banana pudding I cant eat for the Civitan meeting tonight.
Hugs,
Rhonda D. who is HOT!!!

Well it has been storming and raining here all afternoon....Hallejah!!!!! Now it is 75 outside. I can handle that. Must have been one of those pop up things. Whatever, I will take it.
Probably be back up to 100 tomorrow. I have two of my grandkids for the next two weeks. Girls, one is 10 and one is 8. Took them to the mall this afternoon.....probably won't do that again.
Anyway, ya'll stay cool out there.
Speaking of Wendy, haven't seen her on here lately....
