A gracious afternoon to one and all
Hey everyone!
So, it's another hot, hot, hot Monday, and it looks like summer is REALLY here to stay. Even as a poorly insulated person who never gets warm, even I am starting to be done with this! Thankfully, I'll be at work all week where they keep it cold enough to hang meat.
My elbow is getting better, so is the burn on my neck. Henrietta the hernia....who the heck knows. We'll see what Gibbs has to say next week.
Here's what I ate yesterday. Not as many cals as I should be getting, but we were busy with Father's Day and Saint Bella. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
bkfst: 1 slice french toast (lite Italian bread), 2 thin slices bacon, extra crisp, canteloupe

Lunch: 1/2 ham sandwich on double fiber bread, 2 Tbs coleslaw

Dinner: 1 chili rellano, 2 Tbs unfried refried beans

snack; 1/2 c NF SF vanilla ice cream w/ 1/2 sliced banana
1171 cals 33 fat 157 carbs 73 pro

Well, If I had the money I would go back to the mountains. BUT....since I don't, I have to stick closer to home. Sucks to be poor and HOT.....but hey, at least I'm not obese anymore. Cause if I was, I would most certainly be even more miserable. So gotta be grateful for the things you can. I may get hot, but at least I can walk, talk, and sorta still have most of my memory....lol.

Wow, that is bad. I'm sure you don't miss that one single bit. My brother in law is allergic to antiperspirants. He has to take like two showers a day. But then he is so lean and his metabolism must be through the roof, because he eats like a horse and still stays so thin. Makes ya wanna give him a swift kick in the britches...lol. But I do love him a lot...
Hope you stay cool for the next week, cause there ain't no chance for rain till next Sunday or Monday.

I am here, but melting!!!! I absolutely HATE hot weather, my body temp seems to be back to what it was b/f WLS. Susan, be glad you dont sweat, but rest assured I do enough for allll of us here. When I was mowing last week, it was hard to mow b/c the sweat was running in my eyes.
Food wise, Im doing much better, seem to have shrunk pouchie back to a good size, certainly cant hold the amounts I was (thank God). My main problem is eating when its so hot. I stay outdoors alot now, and drinking and staying hydrated is NO problem, but I never have been able to eat when Im hot. Makes me . For example, here is my Monday (any suggestions to eating when hot will be greatly appreciated):
Breakfast: 2 fried eggs (in pam) on whole wheat bread w/low fat cheddar
Lunch: Repeat Breakfast
Dinner: 1/2 cup pasta w/half cup homemade spaghetti sauce made w/lean deer meat.
Snack: 1/2 cup NSA Neopolitan ice cream
Lots and Lots and Lots of Crystal Lite, Iced Tea and 2 Diet Dr. Peppers
Not bad, but just not enough, cant seem to get anymore in, so HELP ME!!!
Did some walking yesterday, but not alot, got tooo hot Sunday, so Mike wouldnt let me outside much yesterday. Going back to work out again today at the civic center.
