Woohooo!!!  I'm so excited. :)  I'm sure we won't be alone, Susan really talked up the walk at the last post-op meeting, so hopefully we'll get more on board... we've still got loads of time!

Thank You Wendy, I have pretty much fought my battle alone as I moved across the country right after surgery.....I just do not want anyone else to go the the hell I have. I want all people to know they are welcome regardless of where they had surgery!!!!!!

None of us are in a situation to shun anyone. I had zero support after my surgery, not even followups. Yes I have regained......but I am willing to allow myself to be an example if it helps someone else. We need to let everyone know this board is here......you can be lap band you can be an arkansas native or a Boston transplant.....you can be RNY.....you will be welcome at the AR board......we have newbies and grad....there are many lurkers......some are just nosey....some are shy.....some are just not ready for the plunge and are silent observers.......some are like me and feel they dont belong on this board....but I refuse to go away!!!

We need to encourage everyone to come out and walk......to come on and post......

Its for a good cause. I am proud to be a part......guess I was obese for a reason........to help, to encourage and to help make a difference and raise awareness.
