I think I finally feel it...restriction that is.
I haven't lost any weight to speak of since last October. I actually gained 7 pounds in last 3 months. I've had a couple of fills but really wasn't restricted. I finally went in yesterday and Dr. Gibbs gave me another fill. It worked. Today I could barely eat much of anything compared to my other days. He wants me to come back next month and maybe get another one. Depends on how I'm doing. I'll tell you I was regretting this surgery, sort of wishing I had gotten the RNY. I just was afraid of it though due to my other health issues like low potassium and I've had kidney failure before. So we'll see if this is my "sweet spot" . Keep your fingers crossed. I hope to be at the next meeting...I'm assuming there will be one next Thursday?.
Also going to a restorative yoga class next week. I went to one last week and it was awesome. Still not sure what exercise to do, as when I really push to do regular walking or running etc..I tend to put on weight and retain water like crazy. I'm trying the gentler kinder way...might be my kidney issues..that prevents the regular exercise from being effective for me. I've actually always been that way.
thanks for listening...

Thanks Ann...I'm glad your scale is moving again. I'm proud of you too. It's strange how our bodies resist losing. My daughter wants to have the RNY as soon as she can, but she's even more resistant to losing than I am. I really hope she is able to get her weight off quickly. Anyway..thanks again for the encouragement. :)
