I don't think I told you guys yet that my daughter is pregnant. Well she is!!!!! She has one daughter that is two and a half. Well, I took her to her first OB appointment yesterday because she was so sick all morning she didn't think she could drive.  Delivery date is December 27. My birthday is December 26...hey hey.
Well anyway, they did an ultrasound and well......she is having TWINS....

OMG...what a shock. We have no history of twins on our side of the family and the father has no history of twins on his side of the family either.  Boy was he shocked.

I just have to let you guys know that I am still reeling this morning.. I'm in real bad need of a Margarita and some Zanax(sp?).....That will make me, let me see, I gotta count them up....
seven grandkids. But oh, we are excited. God works in mysterious ways. I'm sure he had a reason for this. We are still just in shock and trying to figure out what it all means. But we are happy and we will just deal with everything one day at a time.

Of course her two and 1/2 one that she has(Alayna), her father, my daughter's ex husband.died just a couple of weeks ago. So we are still reeling from that.  And she had been working with Social Security tryng to get that started. So she finally got all that settled yesterday.

Anyhoos, ya'll have a great day and maybe, just maybe we will have one day without any rain!!
Ya'll have a great day.

Oh Shawna I almost passed out myself and I'm not the one pregnant!!! I know there will be so many people there when those babies are born. We have a big family and I'm sure they will all want to be there for this.

Ann,
Congrats!!!!  My mom had twins first, and she had NEVER been around babies!!  My dad worked off and so she was on her own, after the twins she went on to have 3 more of us, for a total of 5 girls.

It will certainly be different, but oh how exciting!!  If she lived closer, Id be happy to keep them, or the oldest any time.

Good luck, oh, by the way, its raining in Fordyce!!!  What a surprise.

Hugs,
Rhonda

Thanks Rhonda,
Sounds like your mom had her hands full. But she must have loved kids.

It will be different because none of us have ever been around twins. So it will all be new to us. I think I should get a book about being pregnant with twins and about after they are born. Maybe I will learn something.

RAINING???? OMG...I feel for ya. Luckily the sun is still shining here. So I'm sure my hubby will want to try and get this yard mowed this afternoon before the rain starts in again. Hopefully this rain will get out of here soon. OR we may have to bush hog this yard instead of mowing it.

How exciting!  Oh, we LOVE babies!

We don't have any grands yet, but we're sure hoping to. Sigh. Maybe someday....

Gary's out mowing right now. Has to get it done before the next round of storms....AGHHHHHHHHHHHH

Hey Susan,
I'd be more than happy to share my grand kids with ya!!!! I'm gonna have plenty to go around.

Charles tried to mow ours this afternoon but the ground is just too saturated. Couldn't do it. So I have no idea when it will get mowed.

I am sick of this rain but I'm afraid when it does stop we won't get any more for a long time. That's how it is here ya know.

Yeah, when we bought the house we asked if we should put in a sprinkler system. The house was new, so it was a good time.
The builder said, heck no, you don't even have to water until August. HA!!! We water all summer. Now we don't want to bother with the sprinkler system. They had their chance.
