My family and I have started building an arc in our front yard, but so far we are okay.  I am seriously so sick of rain that I dread waking up in the morning because I know it's going to be damp and dreary.

The sun actually came out for an hour or so mid-to-late afternoon today (while hubby & I were walking).  My right foot is hurting tonight, but it's because we pushed it on our walk today.  I didn't feel like we pushed ourselves enough lately.  (When we've finished walking lately, I don't feel winded or tired, etc.)

So today, we walked on the track at school.  We ran a lap, the walked a lap, then ran a lap, then walked a lap, etc, etc, etc.  We did that for 4 miles.  I definately DID feel like I had worked out today.  In fact, my right knee was actually grinding a little bit at the end of the walk.  I think the impact of running may have been too much for knees that have been ruined by years of obesity.  So I'm thinking a really fast walk will have to do it next time.  But my knee felt better after an hour or so.  It's the plantar facitis in my right foot that's bothering me now.

I've been on steriods for a few days now and it seems like I want to eat all the time.  HOWEVER, I think that was actually better today.  So I don't know if that was a mental thing because I had a pre-conceived notion that steriods can make you gain weight or if they actually did make me hungrier.  Thankfully, whichever one it was, I diligently watched my calories over the last few days (so I didn't go over) while my body got used to them.  It paid off I guess, because I was feeling back to normal appetite wise today.

Hubby still unemployeed.  No news there.

Other than those complaints, life is good right now.

I miss all y'all.  I can definately tell I missed my first support group ever last month.  It feels like I haven't seen you guys in forever.  I can hardly wait until next Thursday.  I hope everybody makes it this month.  See you all then.

I can't wait to see you, too!  No more of this missing, missy!

Good for you for staying on top of things with the steroids. Hope you end up doing okay with them.

See ya next week!

It scares me when the thunder and lightning hit, but when its drizzling, and its not too hot or too cold, thats when I enjoy playing basketball and going for a run... I know Im crazy, you don't need to tell me..hahahaha Love yah all
