Fishing Anyone?

It's not far from Rosebud to the Little Red.  I would want to go all the time if I lived that close.   Glad the boys got to catch some trout.   How old are they?

We are really a little north of Rose Bud, so we are about 12 miles from the river.  We do go all the time, camping, picnics and etc.  My boys are 16 and 13.  They are all boy when it comes to fishing.  My oldest just went to his first prom, and instead of getting pictures made there, he wanted to go to Collins Creek which is at JFK park on the Red River...they turned out so good!  But, boy, did we get some strange looks by coming out of the woods in a tux!  Am looking forward to getting slim enough to walk trails with them and trying to keep up with them!!!

Road2newme, I do a lot of fishing in Romance.  I like to camp on the little side of Lake Barnett, plus my sister has 700 acres in Romance so she has a lot of good sized ponds.

My roomie and I love to fish, he has a trout stamp but I don't.  We have fished the Little Red River in Judsonia, which is just like a few minutes from Searcy.  Also we like to go out to the Bald Knob Game Refuge to fish (but they have a lot of mean gar and turtles), and sometimes we go out camping at Hurricane/Grey Game Reserve (outside of Bald Knob) and we'll do a little fishing there. 

Fishing and Camping is our favorite pastime. 

I dont fish.....I dont eat anything out of water either but I will gladly go along to soak up the sun....I am a tanorexic as my sister calls me.....I love to tan.......
