Name-- Toni
Starting weight/height-- 246 5'3"
Date of surgery-- November 19, 2007
Type of surgery-- Lap RNY
Doctor-- John Baker
Total amount lost to date-- 110
Resolved health issues-- No health issues at time of surgery but right on the edge. Had all the back, leg, feet aches and pains. But I can say my asthma is much better now.
Where do you live-- Conway, AR
If you work, what do you do-- Technician
Biggest WOW moments-- Me and my daughter sitting in the same chair side by side, wearing single digit clothing, renewing drivers license and the clerk looking puzzled then turning monitor around to ask if the photo was me, the WOWs could go on on…loving it
Biggest challenges-- Not falling back into old eating habits, reassuring people I’m still not losing and my weight is fine. One challenge I had before WLS I still have today… finding a bra that fits/supports (a little TMI…but its true)
I would call Dr Bakers office and ask to talk with Christy, if she is busy have them transfer you and leave message with her. She was good about getting back with me, sometimes it was a few hours. It looks like you have everything in order. I did find in the process that paperwork did get lost in transfer---faxes, so make sure you make copies and document dates/names. Keep calling until you get information don't wait on them. Again, Christy was good about getting back with me, but she is very busy. let me know how things go, and best of wishes
