Tuesday Afternoon
Howdy all!
Here we are, 6:30 in the evening and no one has posted for the day. What's up with that???
Boy, that was some storm in the middle of the night. We've gotten over 2 inches last night and today, but less than an inch in LR. Gary couldn't sleep, so he's been up since 3:00.
Gary had to go to a meeting today held by the Emergency Dept for the State regarding the swine flu situation. Mostly it was how to keep their offices running at 50% staffing(their estimate of what it could be), but also about the best way to keep from getting sick. Their best recommendation, besides washing your hands, is to use stuff like Purell, that hand sanitizer. So, he decided to stop on the way home to get some, went to two different stores....sold OUT!
Not to add to the run on the stuff, but if you see it in a store, you might want to buy some for your whole family. Just in case!

We are a quiet bunch today, aren't we? Let's just hope that no news is good news. Everything is fine with me today. Just trying to stay dry and that's no easy task this week.
Still working - well, still going to work anyway. I sure am ready to be productive again.

Hey guys, typing in blue, thats how I feel. Got new pain meds today b/c the codeine was causing major itching problems, so I had to take benadryl w/the meds, made me a major zombie, but an irritable one!!!
Today has been better painwise, but I just have the blues, life will be better for tomorrow is a new day.
No storms here last night, some heavy rain around 9, then nothing else. Has been horribly humid today, but just sprinkles of rain, sad to say but I wi**** would either rain, or not be humid!!!
Nothing new here, just hopping around. Mike keeps teasing me telling me I ought to apply for a job at IHOP!!!!! Hes so kind, ha ha ha. Great hubby, I would be lost w/o him.
Hugs to all, hope we all stay swine flu-less. I say that while Mike feeds about 12 head of pigs every day!!!!
See you all tomorrow, Im going to elevate and ice down the foot.
