the weekend, that is!

I hope you are all out doing something very fun and enjoying all of this lovely sunshine.

Gary and I walked Two Rivers Park this morning, just as it was trying to decide if it was going to be warm or not. The wind was blowing like crazy, and of course, I was a bit cold, but the walk was beautiful. When we got home I decided that I had looked through the dirty windows just as long as I could, so I washed windows...inside and out. Doesn't matter that it will rain the whole week, at least I won't have mud running down them.

Okay....gotta run. What  did you do to enjoy the weekend?

Hey Susan,
Went to the barn for a while today, sat ALL day w/my foot propped up. They all treat me like a princess, making over me, not letting me do anything for myself.  Had a good time, it was a birthday party for our trainers sister.  She turned 65 yesterday and gets around like a 25 year old.  Gotta love her.  Came home, took drugs, and now Im going to lay down, rest and ice the foot.  Will let you all know how the doc appointment goes tomorrow.

Hugs,
Rhonda and Mikey

Good Weekend here.

Got to go play some golf with my daughter on Saturday morning.  It was windy but beatiful and we had a great time.   Then Dian and I went to the Travelers' game Saturday evening. It was a perfect night for baseball and we really enjoyed ourselves.   By the way, have you ever noticed just how much "junk" people eat at baseball games.   I thought I was going to have a massive dumping episode jus****ching what people ate during the course of the game.  Did i ever do that?   YUP, that's why I am here today.

Best of all though, we went to the College of Business honors ceremony at UALR on Friday night.  Stephanie (our youngest) was awarded three acedemic scholarships.  Dad is pretty proud of her.  Needless to say, that's three more scolarships than the old man ever received.  She is also a finalist for one of seven alumni scholarships.  We'll hear about that in a couple of more weeks.

Well, back to work today.  Pretty excited about that, too (well, not really).

Quite impressive, Dad!  Way to go Stephani!!!

Glad you got out to the greens, and baseball, all in one day?  Whooooo.

Yeah, watching people eat now is really pretty disgusting, isn't it?  I took some leftover tuna casserole to work the other day and a co-worker made a sandwich out of it....on Sunbeam WHITE bread.

I had to leave the room.

My.....how times have changed!
