I'm Back

Hello Everyone,
I have missed you guys. I'm finally home from staying at my sister's in Cabot. Some of you may remember, she had a knee replacement surgery, so I went to help out for a while. She is doing really good. She has progressed from the walker to a cane.
Well, I took my laptop with me to keep in touch, but she doesn't have wireless internet. AND evidently neither does any of the neighbors. So no internet all week. But I did get a lot of reading in....lol.
Yesterday, my husband and I worked in the yard all day!! We planted shrubs, trees, flowers, and he finished up his garden. Man, was I tired last night. But we wanted to get it done before all the rain this week. So maybe I won't have to water everynight.
NOW.....we had a truckload of topsoil delivered this morning. We have a bunch of low spots in the yard(and when I say yard, I mean we have three acres) that we need to fill in. They really jar you around when you mow with the tractor.
So this morning I'm trying to get my house back in order after being gone for a week. I've got laundry out the ying yang. LOL....
Oh yea, forgot , went to Dr. Baker last Tuesday for my one year check up. Everything was great. Lost 132 pounds. Labs were good, but I had too much Vitamin D. So he told me to cut back on it. Addy said she had never seen anyone with too much Vit D. Oh well, must be doing something right I guess.
So ya'll have a good day. Sure did miss you guys and so happy to be back

Too much D???? What was your level, did he say?

Well, at any rate, we're glad to see you back, and equally as glad that your sister is doing so well. Isn't great to be able to get out and enjoy the sunshine and do yard work? Bet you weren't doing it 13 months ago!

congrats on a successful first year. Keep up the great work!

I know. I was shocked. Addie told me what the level was, but I can't remember. I'm thinking she said it was like either 150 or 190. She said I was the first person she had ever seen that the vit D level was too high. I was taking that silly green pill they prescribe once a week, which was 50,000 iu(?). And I'm taking the vit D3 from Vitalady that is 50,000 three times a week. So they told me not to take the green pill no more, so no prescription for that, and he told me to cut back on the D3 to twice a week.
I don't know. I hope he knows what he is talking about.

Oh this time last year I was bummed because I couldn't work in the yard. We love to be outside and get in the dirt and plant stuff. But this year I'm making up for last time. And the good thing is..... that is was so much easier to get down and plant stuff.  Not so much huffing and puffing going on.....lol

You were taking both the green capsule plus the ones from Vitalady?

IMO taking the Vitalady ones twice a week should keep you on an even keel.

when you get finished with your yard, will you come do mine?  It's itty bitty compared to yours!

Yes, I was taking both. So now, I'm just taking the ones from Vitalady twice a week.

Okie dokie, I'll just have Charles load that tractor up and bring it right on over and take care of your itty bitty yard....LOL. But I must warn you, when I say tractor, I mean tractor, not a riding lawn mower....it even has a front end loader on it. Comes in handy for moving dirt around...lol. Or riding the grandkids around or putting Charles in it and raising it up to trim tree branches. But I think he thinks I will let him fall out of it. Of course I wouldn't, UNLESS, I accidentally hit the release button to dump the front end loader. Wonder if I would still have a marriage?????

I hope Charles makes sure you're in a good mood before he decides to trim trees....LOL!  Sounds like a lot of fun, actually.
