Morning AR family!

What a beautiful day it was yesterday, and today promises to be a nice one too. I have a bunch of errands (as usual) this morning, including a bone density test, then home to work on Saint Bella. Since I haven't studied for the test(lol) I might reschedule it for next week, there's just too much to do.
Gary, you might not know, is a semi-professional photographer. He's doing a photo shoot here at the house on Sunday with a PAID model and everything. Has some very unique backdrops designed which should provide some very interesting shots. Of course, someone coming to the house sends me into cleaning overload, nervous that she might see that cobweb in the corner of the laundry room Tess will be doing her make up, I'll be in charge of hair. Honestly, I just wish he'd stick with weddings and portraits, but he's pretty OCD and has had this in his head long enough. Time to be done with it so we can move along.

I'm starting to fight some of the old eating habit demons, finally just going to bed last night to keep from eating needlessly. Why couldn't they operate on our heads when they did our guts??

Ok, enough of my ramblingsl. Hope everyone gets out and about today and has a wonderul one. You all take care, K?

I am really disappointed.  Gary didn't even ask me to be his model.  I know that with Tess on make-up and you on hair, I would have been adorable.  Oh well, his loss.

Good decision on the going to bed rather than eating needlessly.  I did that a lot for the 2 months I was on liquids pre-op.   It sure beats the alternative of eating junk and then feeling guilty, or worse yet restarting old habits.   Hang in there.  You are way tougher than those old food demons.

Hope everyone has a great day.  I am headed to the golf course later this afternoon to get me some good ole vitamin D.

I did not know that!  Very cool... (filing away in mental rolodex)  What kind of camera does he use?

Yesterday was freakin' gorgeous!!!!  I walked down to the football field 1/4 mile from the house and ran a few laps.  It was so pretty out, and not too hot/cold.  Sam had already bathed the little people by the time I went out or I would have dragged them along to play.  I got home and showered before I remembered today is our turn for pre-K snacks, so had to go back out to the store.  Y'all have to know me, a quick trip to the grocery store is anything but!  45 mins and $30 dollars later, I emerged... really, I was just going to buy bananas and Nilla wafers.

Fortunately, I still had plenty of time to hang out with the littles and snuggle with them.  Jacob (he's almost 9) is our middle child and is a total mom's boy when he gets the chance.  Katie and Megan are so demanding that it's a rare opportunity for him, though.  He is such a sweet guy -- case in point:  Last night as they were wrapping things up for bed, J was plugging up his Nintendo DS.  I said, "Do you LOVE your DS?"  He looked at me and said, "Not as much as I love you!" and gave me a huge hug.  What a sweetie!  And yes, he does know how to work me!!

Tonight is running clinic.  I have not yet won a door prize (several are given away every time; we're now at our 16th or 17th class) so maybe tonight will be my lucky night.  I hear rumors of a Wal-Mart gift card; maybe I'll eventually win that...

Everyone have a great day!

Today was great for me as well.  Very tiring, and I have gained a massive appreciation for elementary teachers.  I worked at our Elem. School today.  They had a body walk, meaning that they walked thru different shaped rooms and halls and learned about the different parts of the body.  They came thru in groups of 10.  Well, my body part was the muscle!!!  Learned some interesting facts about the body and muscles today.  Had a great time.

Funniest moment of the day was when I passed around a fake pound of muscle and then a fake pound of fat.  Having been fat all of my life, I still think people who dont know me see me the way I used to be.  (Again, why cant they re-wire our head)  Anyway, as we all know kids tell it like it is, and as I passed around the semi soft piece of fat, a cute lil tyke said, "Hey lady, my moms fat is softer than this, I like hers better!!!!!"   I bout died.  Needless to say, kids make me smile.

Came home and Mike worked on the horse trailer jack, and I played w/the 10 puppies.  Now we are going to the barn to see the folks over there.  Gonna enjoy all this pretty I can, for here comes another rainy weekend.

Have fun,
Im horsin around.

Imagine carrying over 100 of those around everyday! I'm so visual it 's not funny.

Ten puppies???  Do tell!

Enjoy your weekend with all your critters and Mr Mike.

P.S.  Can you do this old gal a favor? Would you increase the font size of your posts?? I can hardly read the tiny text. Thanks, Doll!

Take care, K?
