Sorta sunny Sunday
Morning, Friends,
Ahhh, another beautiful moning in Central AR. Birds singing, sun coming up. Good to be alive!
That about sums up my day. Not too much going on that I know of right now. Too early to tell, but I will complete my Top 10 rules for WLS today and get it to Lauren for approval. Keds coming over and we might try to get some Saint Bella done. Next Sunday is not only Easter, buy my DDIL's birthday. So, it's gonna be at least two weeks before there will be anything else done, so no time like the present.
Hope everyone has a marvelous day.
Chime in....how are you and what are you doing?

Well, yesterday we finished up with my daugther's last cheer competition of the season (state). They placed 3rd, but really 1st among small gyms. (My daughter's gym has about 20 cheerleaders TOTAL, of all age groups. The two squads that came in 1st and 2nd have about 300 or so cheerleaders TOTAL, of all ages.) So we were super proud of them.
This week, god help me, is cheerleading tryouts at her SCHOOL. She is set to try-out Friday and has practice everyday until 8 o'clock Monday through Thursday of this week. That means that I will NOT be able to come to support group unless my dad can get ferry my daughter back/forth on Thursday.
This will be the first support group I will have EVER missed since deciding to have this surgery. And I'm in my scary slow-gain period now (back up to a healthier weight... but still). But this is the most important thing in my daughter's life and I can't let her down. So I may have to miss.
In any event, today I have to go grocery shopping and catch up on everything I haven't done this week and will need to do this coming week but won't have time. Lucky me!

I am just sitting here, it's cold to me but an hour or so ago I couldn't stop sweating. I am not old enough for menopause so it's not that, LOL. I think it is my narcotics that does this to me. I take methadone and methadone has a nice long list of side effects, and twice as long a list of side effects if your a few hours late in taking it.
I am doing laundry today. I have been horribly tired the last few days. So dishes and housework are backed up. Plus I need to clean out my rats cages, the poor things shouldn't suffer because I am having a "don't wanna do anything" day, LOL.
I think I may make a loaf of bread today. My bread never looks like store bought loafs. It's looks like meatloaf LOL. But by making my own, I save money and can add ingredients that are good for me, like wheat, oats, or flax seeds. Also honey it always a nice little addin if I am wanting a good breakfast bread. I am new to bread making, I have only made 2 loafs.

Good Evening...
I'm always late posting..I don't get online much during the day. I had a fairly lazy day. I did get the week's grocery shopping out of the way. That's always a challenge with buying for 3 teenage boys plus one DH. I am trying to be a conciencious (sp?) shopper. I did price matching along with coupons. Got out of the store and only spent $134...not too bad for a weeks worth of food for 5 people..that's lunches, dinners & breakfasts. We bought a small truck since my son's car motor needs to be rebuilt...so he can drive it until his car is ready..after that my stepson will have a vehicle (if he ever gets his learners permit)...I'm sorta torn..want him to get it..and yet..I don't! :)
My younger stepkids are back home...my stepdaughter is in the phase of wanting daddy for herself...ugh.
I have done well all week with my dedication to exercising an hour a day. I did 2 sessions of yoga/deep breathing..plus some housework.
Ya'll have a wonderful week!
We'll be missing you at the meeting Wendy!!
