still alive...

Just checkin' in.  I'm still alive & kickin'. 

My family has been keeping me SUPER BUSY lately. 

My daughter had cheer/tumble competition all weekend, then practice Monday & Tuesday nite, then more practice Thursday & Friday nite before what is supposed to be her last competition this weekend.  (There are exhibitions after that, but no more competitions.)  But school cheerleading tryouts are coming up - so I don't know how much ferrying back & forth I'll have to do for that. 

My son has been doing track meets.  In fact, he missed tumbling last night for a track meet.  (He is in tumbling only, not cheer - although I sort of wish he'd at least TRY cheer.)  He didn't get back from his meet last night until around 10. 

Hubby is commuting back & forth to LR lately due a temporary reassignment.  Hopefully, he'll get his own store soon.  He has 2 interviews coming up - so everyone keep your fingers crossed. 

So not only do the kids have packed schedules, but with hubby gone so much - it's honestly almost like I'm a single parent.  No wonder I'm having trouble sleeping lately.  (I didn't sleep at ALL last night..... I mean not even an hour.)

BUT... yesterday was still a good day.  It was mine & hubby's 15 year anniversary.  Neither of us can hardly even believe we've been married that long!  I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing!  LOL

In any event, everyone have a great Wednesday & rest of the week!!!

sorry I didn't get back to you the other day, but you know how it is!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!  Fifteen years is something to be proud of, for sure. It's so much easier to give up than it is to work at a relationship. Gary and I have been together 27 years now and it's not always easy, but I'd do it again, for sure!

Okay, gotta go start a "today" thread to check in on everyone else. Take at least a MINUTE for Wendy, K?

Whoever said marriage is not hard work is full of crap. It takes a lot of work. A whole lot of give and take. Sometimes people today do give up too soon on marriage. They don't understand the concept of give and take. My dh and I have been married 38 yrs. But anyway......

It's April Fool's and I STILL haven't tricked anybody! Dangit! Anwyays, good luck to the hubs. Glad to hear from you. Congrats on 15 years. The hubs and I are coming up on 2 years. I often wonder how many he'll make it through. I tell him now that he has lost so much weight, he has a neck!! 

...and that I'd like to wring it sometimes.

Congrats on your anniversary. It's nice to hear that. Hey don't you just love driving that taxi? Our kids keep us busy. Sometimes I pass myself and say hello. LOL
