Lap-Band and flying

Me and my wife went to Hawaii last June. On the flight I tried to eat and boy did I pay for it. It got stuck pretty quickly. Ever regurg in a airplane lavatory? Not pretty. I was not tight at all before the flight, but after it was awful. Was in paradise and could barely swallow for three days. Do you think it was the length of the flight (8 hours!) or just the cabin pressure that did it? Have not flown since! LOL!
