Okay, off the soap box. I've got a busy week at the salon this week. So grateful for the break last week where I had a chance to catch my breath. Got all involved in a computer game and just lost myself in it for about two days. Mindless entertainment is a good thing...now and then.
Tess and I are starting the preliminary work to take Saint Bella to the Holiday House this year. What a bunch of red tape. Next Monday I have to take pictures and samples to the Junior League's office for them to be judged. Hope they pass the worthyness test!
Okay,,, off to make Gary's oatmeal and pack up lunches.

Hey Susan! Not much going on around here. We went to the Tulsa Zoo last weekend. We had a blast! We also went to Incredible Pizza, and that place is crazy! So many people, and it was soo hot in there. That was suprising, because these past few months, I have been freezing. After we left there, we stopped in at the Bass Pro Shop. I love that place! I got a T-Shirt. We left at 8 am, and did'nt get home until 10pm. I lost another lb. I am 261 now. I can't wait until I get into the 250's! Looks like it might get nasty outside later today. I have been busy this morning. My creative juices are flowing. I like to do artificial flower arrangements. So I have already done two for my daughter who is moving out the end of April. I haven't done it in a long time, so I had forgot how much I enjoy doing that. I love crafting and creating things. Makes me feel useful.
Anyway, waiting for a guy to come out and look at our septic system. He put it in about five years ago. It has a pump in it that pumps it into the field lines and now the pump has gone out. So our water usage is very limited. I told the kids last night they couldn't take showers this morning. That they would have to take hobo baths. They griped but they understood. He said it would cost us about $350 to fix it. So I'm not griping because it could have been a whole lot worse. I just have that he will have to dig a hole to get to the pump. Well enough about that.
Good luck with the Holiday House thing. I have only been once, but I really enjoyed it. Didn't know so much work went into putting products in it though. I guess they must be very picky about what goes in there.

Yay! I'm drinking coffee and I'm a little hyper. I've been posting EVERYWHERE today (facebook, another internet community, here!).
The weather looks like it'll be crap, but the fam and I got outside to enjoy the afternoon yesterday. I ran for my clinic and my hubby took the little kids to the adjoining park. Megan is out of town with a friend for a couple days... I hate to say it, but I'm kind of enjoying the break. I'm sure she is, too!

Everybody needs a break now and then, don't we? Sunday was spectacular, wasn't it? We drove around and ended up at Pinnacle Park near the lake. A man was water training his lab to go after ducks and it was so fun to watch. No matter how far into the river he threw that decoy that big yellow dog went after it, tail wagging when he came out. Such fun!

It was great to hear from so many folks yesterday (and this morning). It always helps me to hear from everyone about successes and about struggles. Helps remind me that I am not the only one experiencing these things and that makes it easier to keep with the program. Hope everyone will continue to stop in - even for a brief hello if nothing else.

Hey Susan!
Let's see....I was up late last night recarpeting some of the storage doors on the boat. The front deck is just about done. Now we have the back deck. This boat is wearing me out!!
Tonight I have a Scentsy party, so I will be gone most of the evening. I think I have johnny talked into removing all the carpet and residue from the remaining doors. If so, I can have them all done Wednesday, but we'll see what he actually accomplishes.
I have the busiest week ahead. I'm not sure that everything will get done, but I'll do my best and let the rest go. I gotta run to Tulsa on Friday to deliver a Scentsy party and close another one out. I love being busy though. It keeps from eating mindlessly as long as I don't get stressed. If I get stressed then I have to fight the pantry.
Oh yea! I got a FoodSaver on Saturday. I haven't had a second to use it just yet, but I see mass production of deer jerkey in my future!! I just had to throw that out there...lol. The FoodSaver rocks especially for a couple of RNYers.

I've lost 16 lbs since the last support group meeting- finally out of that 8 week stall!! Each time I begin loosing I regain some confidence, and each stall is always frustrating and dissapointing... but gets easier with time. I'm down 105.4 lbs since surgery, for a total of 116.4 since the beginning of the liquid diet...size 34 to a 18/20 pants, and 4/5X top to 16/18.
How do I get the century card?
I work 6 days a week for the most part, but that should be changing next month. I have a motorcycle I ride- but lately something is continuing to happen on those wonderful days so I can't. UGH.
Time for me to let the little monsters in and head to the Y for my swimming... Have a great day!
