I hope you're seeing this and feeling as well as can be expected in a place like the hospital!
We are all so super excited to have you on the loser's bench!
I know you're going to do fantastic!
Walk, walk, walk to get the soreness worked out and your system all woken back up and working properly again!
See you Thursday!!!

Im on the losers bench now..... yaaaaayyyy!!!! . i Havent been on the computer like I said I would be, becausee I was sleepy!!! LOL........ Aweeeeee.... Your ALL ARE SO so sweet... Yeah,I got sick with a feevr and worried people.. i am in a lot of pain, but thats my drain.... as far as the surgery, None at all.... only a lil when I cough.... im on ice chips right now, jello tomorrow......
yes I did 10 laps today... it does help with gas.... oh man I have alot... Dr. Baker told me to cough and deep breath... It hurts so bad, but I am needing to because of the fever which was caused by the mucus he said... I will see you all Thur... Hopefully i will be out of the hospital by then..... we will see..... Love yah
That coughing is what made me hurt post-op too! I felt like I had done a zillion sit-ups & everytime I coughed, those muscles seemed to be the EXACT ones used for those zillion sit-ups I hadn't done! LOL I had pain from the constant hiccups I was prone to for whatever reason as an immediate post-op. (Leave it to me to have something weird like constant hiccups begin after surgery. Every hiccup used to afore-mentioned muscles.)
My mom had horrible gas with her surgery too. I didn't have any. She had LAP though and I had open. I don't remember which you had, but either way - that will get better.
See you Thursday!!!

Sorry I wasnt there =( i WAS too sore and needed to go home because of the weather....
my follow up with Dr. Baker is April 7th so I will be at the meeting then... Yaaaaayyyyyyyyy!!!
Hugs back to you also....
YAY!!! So glad to hear from you! Keep up the good work. I hated the breathing exercises, but my mom is a respiratory therapist so I knew what would happen should I decide to adopt shallow breathing instead!
At Dr.Roller's seminar, I was asked if I had any pain immediately post-op. My reply...."I had MORPHINE!"
Drugs are good!!! I went in with the mindset that I was nothing special if I went through this entire process with minimal pain meds. No one was going to give me an award or give me a pat on the back. No reason to be in pain if you don't have to be so I loaded up! I was still able to walk, but I slept well and that helped me recover.
Keep us updated on how you're doing!
