Monday, Monday...
Hey all,
Did everyone have a good weekend?
I did a lot of running around; we had 2 soccer games Saturday and I ran my neighborhood loop twice (25:30-ish). Yesterday, I had a meeting with some church ladies and went out shopping for a dress for my oldest. Turned out, she'd already gotten a loaner dress from a classmate, so I was off the hook for that... though I didn't find out in time to avoid the sales and subsequent purchase of clothes for my other two kids. Oh well.
I go running with the clinic tonight. This week, it's run 3 min/walk 2 min for half an hour. The plan is to complete that, then on Wed or Thurs I'll go for a quick mile or so and rest up after that. Saturday is the LR Marathon 5k!

Wendy, I'm so proud of you for keeping at this couch-5K project! You're doing so very well. You know, it's good training for those clothing sales, right?
Isn't it great that kids are ok with sharing clothes? Back in the stoneage not only would we NEVER think of borrowing a dress, but OMG....go to a dance with a bunch of girls? UNHEARD OF! So very glad the females of the species have come so far.
Yesterday I did the usual stuff around the house to get ready for the Bella marathon. We fragranced and filled 64 bottles of lotion, made 100 lbs of salt scrub base, 3 gallons of lip scrub base and did a bunch of paperwork. I'd say that was an honest day's work. Of course today was the usual "day off" stuff, filled with errands and all the fun stuff we get to do when we're not "working" HA@#@@@!@#@#$!@#$^$%^%
Alrighty then, off to finish putting dinner together. Everyone enjoy their evenings!

Good weekend here. Played golf on Saturday with my daughter. Really enjoyed the time together. Then the ususal Sunday school and church on Sunday followed by a quiet afternoon. Back to regular food on Sunday... boy was I ready.
Looks like another cold day for your upcoming 5k Wendy. Maybe it won't be rainy anyway.

Oh yes, I broke the stall. I lost a whole pound last week on liquids. WOW!
But what I am really waiting to see is whether it has any (positive or negative) impact now that I have returned to balanced eating. We'll see at the end of the week. One impact of it though is that I get full very quickly since I have returned to eating. I can really feel the food much earlier, so that is certainly positive. I'm sure that will adapt back, but it is interesting to fix a normal size (for us) dinner plate that was always easy to eat and find that I can't fini**** comfortably. Also confirmed mentally that I am the boss of the food ( I made it all week) and that is comforting to affirm, Oh well, time will tell whether this little episode was really worth the effort or not.
