Meeting Thursday
Hey gang,
Yes indeed there is a meeting this Thursday evening. Post ops in the Dr's dining room just off the main cafeteria, pre-ops in the big room in the back.
I don't have an agenda planned yet. Is there anything in particular you folks would like to discuss, or should we just chat and exchange ideas/gripes/concerns about our new way of life?Let me know so I can put something together if you do.

I can't believe I'm going for my 6 month this month... I continue to struggle with getting protein in each day. I've been working so much I can't make many of the meetings you have there, but will be there this week. I can't eat beef or pork, so I stick with chicken and turkey food wise. I've tried the protein bullets and shakes... can do them for a few days in a row then I want to puke at the thought. If anyone has ideas to help I'd love them!
I'm down 92.8 lbs since Sept 10 Surgery..a bit dissapointed at the slow loss in the past 3 months. Ok, not a bit, a LOT. sigh. Got the thin hair to go with it. I do take my vitamins daily, thyroid and am working on getting in my Calcium- it's my trouble spot as I forget it. I swim and walk a lot too. I drink the protein water from Special K, make healthy choices food wise, avoid most carbs...and the scales don't move very often anymore. Size wise I can tell a small difference in clothing, but not much. Stalls just suck!
